Mosaic Classes ~

Stained Glass and Mosaic Stepping Stones:
Yes, you can walk on them, too!  See how easy
it is to make these elegant stepping stones
using tiles, stained glass, mosaic pieces, glue
and grout.
Choose from the following patterns for the
large stone: sleeping cat, lighthouse, hummingbirds,
butterfly, irises, tulips, garden scene or pond scene.

Patterns for small stone: iris, butterfly, hummingbird,
tulip or daffodil.

Mosaic Table Top:
Learn how to use this ancient art form in its
updated version to create this useful table top.
All the stained glass has been cut for you, so all
you have to do is glue the pattern down and
finish the background with mosaic pieces.  If you
can glue it, you can do it!  Same design options
as the large stepping stone.
Ages 10 and up; fairly easy
"The Last Word" Mosaic Wall or
Garden Plaques:
Inspire someone, or get inspired with your
favorite word printed with mosaic pieces.  Using
a 4" x 10" rectangle, you will add a tile border,
your favorite word (up to 8 letters) and a
mosaic background.  Examples of words: love,
laugh, giggle, inspire, dance, imagine, hope,
anything you can think of!
Ages 10 and up, a little more difficult and
requires patience and dexterity

"The Last Word" Mirror:
Very similar to the wall or garden plaques but
we work our words around a mirror!  We use a
pre-cut and mounted mirror and add our words
and mosaics to make a beautiful wall hanging.
Choose 2 (short) words per mirror.

Mosaics and Mirror Wall Hanging:
Made on a 12" square board with a 5" mirror in
the center, it's perfect for any room in your
home!  Add tile for the border and fill in with
tulips or geometric patterns to finish.

Ages 10 and up; fairly eary

Mosaic Trivet:
This can be used as a trivet or hung on the
wall as a decoration.  Begin with an 8" square
and create your own work of art.  Choose from
an iris, butterfly, hummingbird, tulip or daffodil.
Ages 8 and up; easy to complete

set up a class!
user friendly, and fun as well.  Most of the classes will take from 2 to 4 hours.  This time frame allows you to do the
grout them for you to pick up at a later date.  During the winter months, it is sometimes better to leave your projects so
that they can be grouted in a room with proper ventilation.  In warm months, we work outside and take advantage of a
walk through the herb beds as well as learning to make mosaics.
Please call several weeks in advance to arrange a time that is convenient for you to take a class.
We require a deposit of 50% to reserve your class.
